Our Impact In Kenya

Our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility is rooted in a desire to uplift the most vulnerable and be a catalyst for lasting change. One of our most cherished initiatives is the Gift of Hope Tree, launched during the 2021 festive season—a heartfelt mission to bring joy to children at Paula Mercy Children’s Home.

The initiative was born out of a personal encounter. After learning about Paula Mercy Children’s Home through a close connection, our founder was deeply moved by the story of the home and the remarkable resilience of its children. Compelled to act, she envisioned a Christmas unlike any other—one filled with laughter, love, and unforgettable memories. From that vision came the Gift of Hope Tree, a simple yet powerful idea. A Christmas tree was set up at her local church, decorated with cards bearing photos of each child from the home. Members of the congregation were invited to pick a card and sponsor a gift. The response was overwhelming—an entire community coming together to ensure that every child felt seen, celebrated, and cherished.

On December 23, 2021, Imanitte Africa hosted a magical Christmas celebration at Zugu Zugu Park and Garden. The day was filled with joy, energy, and togetherness. Older children enjoyed spirited football matches, the younger ones splashed in the pool, bounced on the castle, rode thrilling rides, and danced their hearts out in a friendly competition. We capped off the celebration with a hearty meal and a special gift-giving moment—each child receiving a beautifully wrapped present, lovingly sponsored by someone from our community. It was more than just a party; it was a reminder to the children that they matter, and that they are not alone.

Founded in 2017 by the late Beth Paula Mwangi, Paula Mercy Children’s Home provides a safe, loving environment for underprivileged children in Kenya. Despite her disability, Beth devoted her life to uplifting others. Today, the home supports around 50 children—20 as permanent residents and others under guardianship. It offers food, education, mentorship, and space for children to grow their talents. Operated under the Paula Mercy Foundation, the home remains a beacon of hope, compassion, and opportunity for every child it serves.
